I began by setting my plaster on a beach ball in order to create the desired form. After the plaster had dried I began measuring where I was going to place the holes in order to see into the light I placed the plaster strips around those and created a hard shell. After the 4 layers of strips dried I mixed powder plaster and water in order to fill the crevices and valleys that were not filled in with the plaster strips. I then built and measured a piece of wood to stay in overnight in order to have a place for the actual fixture of the light to be placed in for the light.
